Get Glowing With our Exfoliating Mask

It’s time to update your home facial routine!

Only a few things feel better than having smooth and soft skin. Exfoliation is an essential part of a beauty routine for several reasons. First, your skin is your body’s first line of defense. In fact, it’s arguably the most important component of your immune system. It endures a tremendous amount of abuse. At all hours, whether you’re inside or outside, pollution, dirt, bacteria, food particles, viruses, and any number of foreighn agents come into contact with your skin cells. When they do, your cells expend a lot of energy fighting infection, and may die. Exfoliation ensures that new skin cells can come to the surface and that dirt and old skin won’t clog your pores. Second, over time and especially because of sun exposure, our skin does not slough off old, dead cells as easily. That’s why babies and children have such gorgeous, supple skin; their skin cells are constantly shedding and regenerating, giving them a youthful glow.

There are two routes you can take with exfoliation: using an abrasive material to physically remove old cells, or using an acid based system. We like both, choose either method based on your preference.

If you do choose to exfoliate with a scrub, make sure it’s a fine grained scrub.

Have you tried our exfoliating mask?

Our Exfoliating Mask is a facial in a jar! It is made of pumice, which has an almost soft, sandlike feel to it. It’s a powerful blend of fruit derived enzymes, volcanic ash, and mineral-rich clay to draw out impurities, enhance clarity, and give you remarkably radiant skin. It is ideal for all skin types and it is the celebrity and influencer go-to for at home facials.

Exfoliate at least two times a week; this will sweep away the dead cells that are making your skin look dull. After exfoliating make sure to follow up with a sheet mask or a hydrating mask to soothe your skin even more.
